Worship Practices

Our worship aligns with historic traditions of the Christian Church, meaning that the foundation of all we do is the proclamation of God’s saving grace in Jesus Christ. Our hymns teach, inspire, and uplift. They teach the faith and help our faith sing a new song to our heart and in our lives.

We highly value the gifts of God that are found in the sacraments of the Church, namely, Baptism and Holy Communion: Baptisms are conducted after some instruction with the Pastor. Holy Communion is celebrated at our church on the 1st and 3rd Sundays and on festivals of the Church. Holy Communion
expresses the unity of faith that we hold in common.

We believe that the body and blood of Christ are present in the communion elements, and we receive
the forgiveness of our sins, life everlasting, and salvation through the communion meal. The Lord’s Table is for the Lord’s people.

Children are welcome to come forward to receive a blessing. All who come forward will be treated with dignity and respect.

We invite you to join the Our Redeemer family. We are a church who desires to grow in the knowledge of our redeemer Jesus. We invite others to know Him through His Word and Sacraments.
