O.R.C.H.A.R.D Community Garden kicked off the season with the news of a grant and will soon begin prepping the garden for the planting. Our goal is to encourage more people in the neighborhood and surrounding community to join our garden. Building our  membership will increase vegetable production so that members can not only grow healthy food for themselves, but also for others in need.

O.R.C.H.A.R.D  will continue to provide a productive and beautiful neighborhood garden space for people of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. We want to build sense of community within the neighborhood and between the church and neighbors. We want this to be a place where people will not only want to garden but to socialize and enjoy nature.  In doing this we hope to increase knowledge of, and donations to, the Food Bank of Delaware.
