The ORCHARD has 7 plots dedicated to providing fresh produce to individuals and families in need. So far this year we have donated to Lutheran Community Services (LCS) as well as several individuals and families here in Newark.
O.R.C.H.A.R.D will continue to provide a productive and beautiful neighborhood garden space for people of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. We want to build sense of community within the neighborhood and between the church and neighbors. We want this to be a place where people will not only want to garden but to socialize and enjoy nature.
