To teach works without danger according to laws of any kind is impossible unless you have first taught the better part of doctrine and taught it with greater emphasis (studio); faith in Christ. In the Letter to the Romans Paul lays down faith as the foundation in eleven chapters and then raises the superstructure of a moral life on it in five chapters. In the Letter to the Galatians he teaches faith in five chapters and morals in only one, the sixth. He proceeds this way in his other epistles too.
