Build a Bag Project welcomes all to help make sleeping bags for the homeless. We offer on-the-job training if you are interested in learning how to do machine or hand sewing, however sewing is not required. If you would like to help but can’t join us, donations of small hand sanitizers, lip balm, small tubes of toothpaste, and clean like new or new hand towels will help fill the toiletries kits that go in each sleeping bag. Plus, with the changing of the seasons, donating clean used window curtains or drapes, comforters, and blankets that you no longer need will keep someone warm this winter.  The biggest reward of being part of this workshop is knowing our sleeping bags are going to provide God’s love and comfort to someone that needs to know they are loved
