Tuesday in Holy Week
If we were to have a worship service on Holy Tuesday (also known as Holy Tuesday), the following would be the appointed propers.
INTROIT (Ps. 42:3, 9-10; antiphon: Ps. 42:5-6a)
Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me?
Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.
My tears have been my food day and night,
while they say to me continually, “Where is your God?”
I say to God, my rock: “Why have you forgotten me?
Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?”
As with a deadly wound in my bones, my adversaries taunt me,
while they say to me continually, “Where is your God?”
Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me?
Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.
COLLECT (prayer) OF THE DAY
Almighty and everlasting God, grant us by Your grace so to pass through this holy time of our Lord’s passion that we may obtain the forgiveness of our sins; through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

GRADUAL (Heb. 9:12a, c, 15a,; Ps. 111:9a)
[Christ] entered once for all into the holy places, by means of his own blood,
thus securing an eternal redemption.
Therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant,
so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance.
He sent redemption to his people;
he has commanded his covenant forever.
VERSE (John 12:23b)
The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.
Blessings in Christ,
