Many of you know Rev. Dr. Jon Diefenthaler, the former president of the Southeastern District. What you may not know is that he has written a book titled “The Paradox of Church and World: Selected Writings of H. Richard Niebuhr.” Perhaps the best known book by Niebuhr is “Christ in Culture,” where he develops the now standard five postures the Church has taken in reference to culture.
